The chart below is created from a photo of one of my frogs, with a close up section in the circle so that you can see the stitches:

 

To create a pattern for you from a photo I would need to know a couple of things:

• You confirm that you have permission from the copyright owner of the photograph to use it
• What sort of size (including fabric count) you are after and the level of detail

 

My pricing for this is:

• Simple conversion of a photo into cross stitch pattern up to 250 x 250 stitches in size: $14.85
• Tweaking of colours (e.g. reduction in the number of colours, as often there are many single stitches of different colours in the simple conversion) an additional $11.00
• The addition of backstitches (outlines) an additional $11.00
• The use of half and quarter stitches (to smooth edges – however, not usually required) an additional $11.00
• Costing for sizes above 250 x 250 stitches would increase in price at a pro rata rate.

 

The resulting pattern may not be re-sold or distributed in any manner – however, your stitched out embroidery may be sold or distributed with acknowledgement of the pattern being created by Lynda Anne, www.lyndaanne.com
